After the periodontist performs the procedure, at-home care tips and remedies should be observed to fasten recovery and reduce the risks of infection.

Conditions as how one can reduce discomfort after the process

The bleeding can be controlled with the use of gauze. After the minor surgery, bleeding is normal, but it can be controlled by using a surgical gauze kept in the mouth for some hours. It should be changed and replaced with a new dressing. Many rinsing should be avoided and spitting for a healthy clot to form. In case of swelling, one can use simple packs procedures like soft lasers can lead to inflammation and swelling of the gums. A fantastic pack is applied on the side of the face. The packs should be used every 15 minutes. The cold packs should not be used directly on the wound and mouth. The swelling should stop after a few days.
